Zhenru Temple (真如寺) is an ancient Buddhist temple with a history spanning over 700 years. Located on the banks of the river in Shanghai's Putuo District, it offers a tranquil atmosphere close to nature. Originally built during the Song Dynasty, it has undergone several renovations.
However, the main pavilion, built of wood since the Yuan dynasty, is still well-preserved, a rare sight to behold in Shanghai.
